Bears, is the part of the Cub Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America for 3rd graders.  Your son will participate in Cub Scouting events that are geared toward teaching and perfecting the values and mottos learned in Tigers and Wolf’s. Cub Scout Bears are in this program and will participate in different events such to make him aware of his community and citizenship activities. This program again is centered on the values in the home with a unique blend of outdoor activities. At the end of this program, we will have prepared your son for the Senior Cub Scout group called Webelos.

Through your active participation as the Akela, Bears Scouts will provide you and your son a variety of new experiences that will help him understand his responsibilities as a good citizen and gain a general knowledge of the community at large. As a parent, you will be able to assist directly in this growth process and continue to forge a close relationship with him as he continues his scouting journey. This level of Cub Scouting is designed to assist you in this endeavor.
